Israels times tables


Make sure to use you brain and not a calculator. Remember to show you're working steps that you have used to solve each of these problems. Try you're best to get as many as you can correct. Let’s
see how many problems you can get right. Have a go!



Addition
  1. 325 + 15 + 489 =         300+400=700 20+90=110 5+9=14  824     
  2. 986 + 1000 +  =           900+1000=1900 80+0=80 6+0=6 1986
  3. 620 + 184 +  =              600+100=700 20+80=100 4+0=4 840

Subtraction                                             Working out subtraction.

Word Problems
  1. David has 18 apples and pears altogether. If he gives away 5 fruit and gets given 14 more fruit, How much fruit does he end up with? 27

  1. Israel has $15 in his bank account, but has to help his mum and dad with a few bills. He needs to have $98 to pay a bill. How much more money does he need? 83

  1. Julianna at first has $27 to buy chocolates for her class party. Her mum gives her $15 more and her friend gives her $1 to add as well. Each chocolate she buys is $2. Add up all of her money and find out how many chocolate bars she can buy for her class party? 42
