Race the partner

Race a partner
For this activity you will need to sit next to someone. You will then write the question and answer in your maths book. The person who answers the section first is the winner. You will then need to check the answers are correct. Do this for each set.

  1. Set One
    1. 12 + 8 = 20
    2. 7 + 9 = 16
    3. 20 - 11 = 9
    4. 15 - 9 = 6
    5. 6 + 14 = 20
    6. 17 - 6 = 9
    7. 19 - 12 = 7
    8. 12 + 5 = 17
    9. 11 - 7 = 4
    10. 13 - 5 =8
    11. 4 + 15 = 19
    12. 18 - 7 =9

  2. Set Two
    1. 11 + 7 =18
    2. 8 + 7 = 15
    3. 20 - 9 =11
    4. 15 - 8 =6
    5. 7 + 11 =18
    6. 16 - 9 =7
    7. 17 - 12 =5
    8. 9 + 7 = 16
    9. 13 - 8 =5
    10. 14 - 9 =5
    11. 6 + 13 = 19
    12. 17 - 8 =9

  3. Set Three
    1. 12 + 8 = 20
    2. 9 + 6 = 15
    3. 11 + 8 = 19
    4. 12 + 5 = 17
    5. 14 - 9 = 5
    6. 3 - 8 = 11
    7. 19 - 15 = 4
    8. 6 + 12 = 18
    9. 13 9 ? = 4
    10. 11 + 8 = 19
    11. 5 + 11 = 16
    12. 1 - 9 = 8

  4. Set Four
    1. 45 + 55 = 100
    2. 37 + 63 = 100
    3. 39 + 61 = 100
    4. 78 + 22 = 100
    5. 83 + 17 = 100
    6. 41+ 59 = 100
