My Narritive writing

Once upon a time there lived a Queen and a Trapeze artist and a Monster that lived in a bush. The Queen and Trapeze artist were going to the circus to perform there item but then they fell off the train and rolled into the bush. After they opened their eyes and said “where are we right now” then they found a map that leads to the circus but they had to climb over a brick wall and they even had to jump over traps and the hardest job was that they had to build traps to catch Monster as well. When they got to the wall there was something mysteriously scary over the wall they did not no what it was in till they looked at the map again. When they got over the brick wall they saw a pile of sticks and a pile of rope by their stinky feet. The Queen and the Trapeze artist had to make a trap from the  tree for them to catch the Monster but the Monster bit the trap and ripped it into little tiny pieces.Next they saw a pile of shiny metal for them to build the
same trap but out of a different material and it was a stronger material after they built it they looked back at the map and saw that the circus was on the other side of the Monster then they tested the trap and the trap worked on the Monster and they both yelled out “we’re here now”. suddenly the Trapeze artist asked the Queen do you want to learn how to do what I do on a rope and she replied oh yes please “I would love to learn how to be a trapeze artist like you” The end.Teamwork makes the dreamwork.

Matariki writing

Once upon time in a beautiful valley there lived seven Sisters who were making kites for harvest. The first Sister made a green kite from the harakeke bush. The second Sister made a orange kite from the raupo bush. The third sister made a pink kite from the manuka tree. The fourth Sister made a red kite from the puriri tree. The fifth Sister made a blue kite the colour of the river. The sixth sister made a white kite from the toetoe tree. The seventh, smallest Sister made a colourful kite her name was Matariki. The seven Sisters took their kites to the top of the hill to fly.Sadly there was so the Sisters tied there kites to the puriri tree and went to sleep.during the night the wind blew and the kites flew away. The Sisters woke to the sound of crying. It was Matariki. The Sisters looked everywhere for there kites.Up in the sky the kites danced among the stars. The sisters were so pleased to see there kites shining brighter than the stars, matariki. Each morning Matariki rose in the morning sky signaling the the start of the new year.

The zoo recount

Last week on Thursday we went to the zoo.

On Thursday we went to the zoo to see some animals. We got to the Auckland zoo in a bus. When we got out of the bus we had to find our parent helper and then we had to get into two lines and listen to Mrs King and the zookeeper so that we would know where the meeting spot was.

After they finished talking we got to see some animals. First we went to the otters and the red pandas. Second we went to the seals and then we went to see the kiwi and the sunken ship.

I was so excited to go to the zoo because I hadn't been there for a couple of years. I felt good after the trip was done. Try and spot the tuatara down the bottom.
