Highlights from camp

My writing is going to be about the year five and six camp that we done last week the camp started on wednesday the 9th of march and then the camp went intil friday the 12th of march.





Camp is like a school holiday for the year five and sixs and it is also for some teachers so they can look after us and make food for dinner.Camp started on the wednsday the 9th of march and it ended on friday the 12th of march at mangere pools.Camp was held on the school field with all of our tents there was about 50 tents on the field so all of the year fives and sixs could sleep in at night some of the tents have two three or some of them have four people in one tent because there was about 180 kids in the whole of camp.There were heaps of activities on Wednesday the names of the activities were called on the beach there was kayaking behind the parks Mr Jacobsen was running the game Killerzone.Another activity with Mr Somerville he was on controlling the slide there were 2 water slides covered in dish washing liquid the dishwashing liquid wasn't the normal one it was one that was so slippery we slid so fast we nearly slid off the slide.The next activity was dance practise in the hall or you're school classroom cause on thursday there was a camp concert with 6 teams the first team was Tama Fiafia the second group was Mali Mali Katoa then the third group was Matariki then the fourth group was Batay the next group was Tamati malosi then the group was Tamati leilei those were all six of the groups.One of my highlight from camp and the activities were going to the pools everyday before dinner so we could go for a short swim then Mr Goodwin after ten minute he would just walk up and down the side of the pool picking random people to hop out of the pool and then to go for a short shower in the 7 shower in the toliet.My second highlight from camp and the activities was going to magere pools on friday because thee was a big bombing pool that u can jump off a diving board into the deep water and the pools were so cold so i went into the warm sprinklers.thank you so much parents and teachers for making camp possible for us thank you so much teachers and parent helpers.Cause so when other people need to write about it they can come visit our blog.
